Another very busy year for Oakleigh Brass – it’s wonderful to have had so many opportunities to play

Australia Day Picnic	Brickmakers Park, Oakleigh	26th January, from 11:30am.	We were guests of Friends of the Children Foundation, who support the new Monash Children’s Hospital, playing at the picnic.
Valentine’s Twilight Picnic	The Bandstand, Caulfield Park	12 February, 5pm	Friends of Caulfield Park invited us to perform in their beautiful bandstand
Toot! Sing! Bang!	Oakleigh Anglican Church, Warrigal Road	5th March, 2:30pm	We welcomed with other local groups for a great afternoon of music making
Live at Warrawee	Warrawee Park, Oakleigh	18th March, 4:45pm	We, a local drumming group and a special community choir  worked together to create a real up-beat event to kick off Oakleigh Festival.
Anzac at Altona	Altona RSL and Hobson’s Bay Civic Centre	23rd April, 2.30pm	A concert at Altona RSL
Oakleigh Anzac Dawn Service	Oakleigh Cenotaph, Drummond St, Oakleigh	25th April, Dawn	Joining our community for the Last Post at dawn.
Anzac at Melbourne	St Kilda Road, Melbourne	25th April, morning	We marched in the main parade down St Kilda Road with our friends from Stonnington Band
Anzac at Newport	Newport RSL and Cenotaph	25th April, 1.30pm	We marched and played at the Newport Anzac ceremony, followed by a playout at the RSL.
Anzac at Oakleigh	Oakleigh RSL, Drummond St, Oakleigh	30th April, 2:00pm	A community concert at the Oakleigh RSL.
Heroes and Villains	Oakleigh Baptist Church, Warrigal Road, Oakleigh	May 28th, 3:00pm	We’re combining with Monash Chorale to present an afternoon of music with all sorts of heroic and villainous connections.
Winter Warmer 1	Highvale Retirement Village, Capital Avenue, Glen Waverley	July	Residents enjoyed a wide range of music.
Winter Warmer 2	Weary Dunlop Retirement Village, Wheeler’s Hill	August	Residents enjoyed a wide range of music.
